Engine of Application
V10 Leadership
V10 is the engine of application in the HCT architecture: it turns the world of “meaning” that PRM sets out, and the discipline of “measurement” that DOMINE provides, into action. It takes leadership out of the realm of job titles and moves it towards the will, the clarity and the responsibility that set up the game.
The spine of this approach is built from four ideas: V1 Will, Algorithmic Communication, The Dignity of the Pawn and Game Awareness (Tempo).
In focus
Not a title, but the will that sets up the game
So that a transformation does not stay “on paper”, V10 Leadership refuses to treat the leader as just another piece. It turns the leader into the “player” who carries the system into the field and reduces uncertainty: clear instructions, clear coordinates, clear responsibility.
V1 Will
The strength to take responsibility and make the first move in a moment of uncertainty.
Algorithmic Communication
A language as precise as chess notation, leaving little room for personal interpretation.
The Dignity of the Pawn
Mentoring that releases the “queen” potential in the smallest unit.
Tempo (Game Awareness)
The discipline of spending a resource on the right move, at the right time.

Tip: As the “engine”, V10 turns the mindset of PRM and the measurement of DOMINE into operational muscle.
What V10 looks like in the field
A leader's first task: language that ends uncertainty
The “Algorithmic Communication Notation” of V10 strips away the language that leaves instructions vague. Communication built on coordinates makes it clear who does what, lowers the margin for error, and grows trust in the team.
An example of clarity
Vague: “Improve customer satisfaction.”
Algorithmic: “Cut waiting time by 20% through proactive updates.”
“Winning leadership” is not a performance, it is a system
V10 is the engine of application that brings the meaning of PRM and the measurement of DOMINE into the field. With clear language, clear responsibility and the right tempo, the team plays one game.
V10 Leadership Training
Once will enters the game, the game changes
The V10 approach set out in the book takes the leader out of being “a piece carrying a title” and turns them into the “player” who carries the system into the field. The antidote to chaos is Algorithmic Communication, which ends uncertainty; the carrying force is V1 Will and resolve.
